Course Guidelines

Article I - Rules for the Golf Course

  1. Please observe 90 degree cart rule at all times.
  2. Stay on cart paths when near tees and greens.
  3. Please keep pace with group in front of you.
  4. No fivesomes allowed without permission.
  5. Please use proper waste receptacles where provided.
  6. Please repair all ball marks and divots.
  7. Proper attire required.
  8. Must be 16 years of age to operate a golf cart.
  9. Approximate pace of play 4 hours and 10 minutes.
  10. All alcoholic beverages must be purchased at the clubhouse bar

Article II – Junior Members And Member’s Children Under Age Thirteen

Section 1. Junior Members: Are divided into the following categories and are subject to the restrictions as stated.

I. Intermediate Junior Member: An intermediate junior member is a child of a member from age 18 who has not reached his/her 22nd birthday before May 1st. They may not tee off before 11:30 a.m. on Saturday or Sunday. An intermediate junior member may not tee off between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, and between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

II. Junior Member: A junior member is a child of a member who is 13 years of age and has not reached his/her 18th birthday before May 1st. A junior member may not tee off before 1:30 p.m. on Saturday or Sunday; between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Monday; between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday; between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Thursday and 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Friday. They may not tee off between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. A junior member can play during these restricted times when playing with a parent.

III. Child Member: A child member is classified as the child of a member who has not reached his/her 13th birthday. A child member must observe the same playing restrictions as junior member, but most also play with his/her own parent, except on Tuesday morning – Junior and Child Development Day.

IV. Sponsored Intermediate Junior Member: A sponsored intermediate junior member is a child of a non-member who has been sponsored by a member of the Massena Country Club. He or she must have attained their 18th birthday and must not have reached their 22nd birthday before May 1st. The restrictions on play are the same as those for the intermediate junior members.

V. Sponsored Junior Member: A sponsored junior member is a child of a non-member who has been sponsored by a member of the Massena Country Club. He or she must have attained their 18th birthday and must not have reached their 22nd birthday before May 1st. The restrictions on play are the same as those for the junior members.
